This set of six colorful posters clearly outlines the process of reading and writing 4-digit numbers in various forms. Display them in your classroom or on your math bulletin board for easy reference during math lessons.

This set of 6 posters cover the following concepts:

  1. The definition of a 4-digit number, with examples.
  2. The four ways to represent a 4-digit number (standard form, word form, expanded form and base-ten form).
  3. An explanation and example of a number represented in standard form.
  4. An explanation and example of a number represented in word form.
  5. An explanation and example of a number represented in expanded form.
  6. An explanation and example of a number represented in base-ten form.

How to Use This Poster Set in the Classroom

Print the posters in color and place them prominently in your classroom for easy reference during math lessons.
